Pixar’s newest film is about a princess who doesn’t want her life planned out for her. Merida wants to create her own fate. Merida wants to plan her OWN life. Sadly, that is not an option in her kingdom. She ends up making some bad choices while trying to achieve freedom, but we never learn unless we make mistakes right? In the movie Merida is just outraged by tradition. She rides off into the mysterious woods hoping for some inspiration. She comes across an old witch. This witch gives her a spell that turns the whole movie around. It’s an unexpected twist that will blow your mind. BRAVE kept me entertained with it’s vibrant colors and scenery the entire time. The fantastic setting brings you into a new world. There wasn’t a moment where I just wanted to take my phone out and tweet. What you learn from the movie is that anything can happen if you make it happen. You can’t wait for everything to play out, if you want something you have to work for it. It’s not going to be handed to you. Don’t give up, and dream the impossible. The road to success is bumpy, you just have to keep pushing. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it. BRAVE teaches you some great lessons. Even grown men seem to enjoy this magical film. I recommend you see it. If you liked any other Pixar movie, I’m positive you will like BRAVE. It’s defiantly worth the money.
MARK NAGLAZAS says “Brave might well describe Pixar itself, which continues to break new ground even when telling the most traditional of tales.”
Robert Burleson says “The film didn’t let me down. It was fun and beautifully shot, but it didn’t quite meet the high standards I have placed upon Pixar.”
Joe Neumaier says “If anyone knows how to take a world you think you know and flip it around, it’s Pixar. From a toy’s eye view of life to a bug’s leafy home to a rat’s kitchen confidential, the company that reinvented animated filmmaking can spin a tale on its head and find the angles.”
